A major change is about to shake up France Inter's morning show. After eleven seasons, Léa Salamé will not be signing on for another season behind the red microphone. In recent days, rumors surrounding the cast of the most-listened-to morning show – nearly 4.9 million daily listeners, according to the latest Médiamétrie survey – had swelled again. Possible changes to the upcoming fall schedule were the focus of discussion on Thursday, June 12, during Radio France's end-of-year celebration, which took place on the banks of the Seine, a few hundred meters from the Maison de la Radio.

Were journalist Léa Salamé and her co-host Nicolas Demorand going to return for a ninth season together? "No," the forty-year-old announced late Thursday morning to Adèle Van Reeth, the director of France Inter, and Philippe Corbé, the station's news director. "Her story with France Inter is not over," added Ms. Van Reeth in a press release, however, mentioning discussions around "new projects for the future."
